Math Passage — Privacy
Math Passage is a math game for children, made by RKane Games. A grown-up signs in; children never do.
What we keep
- The grown-up's email address, and their Google account number if they sign in with Google. We use it only to sign in and to send sign-in codes.
- Each player's nickname and color, which the grown-up chooses. We never ask for a child's real name, age or birthday.
- Each player's progress in the game, so it follows them to any device.
- We look at combined, anonymous numbers, such as how long a stop takes on average, to see where the game is too hard or too easy.
- While the game is open, it tells our server once a minute that a game is open, so we can count how many play at the same time. When an account or a player is deleted, their play becomes part of daily totals that say nothing about who.
- A count of what is bought in the game's shop with gems: the item, its price, the region and the day. It doesn't say who bought it.
- To stop sign-in codes being sent over and over, a scrambled form of the address and of the network a code was asked from is kept for one day, then deleted.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no advertising ids.
- No location.
- We don't sell or share anything with anyone. Our host, Cloudflare, stores it for us, and Google confirms sign-ins if you choose Google.
- One cookie keeps you signed in on your device. There are no tracking cookies.
Deleting everything
- In the game: on Who's playing?, tap Sign out, then Delete account instead, type your email and confirm. The account, every player and all progress are deleted from every device, right away.
- On the web: mathpassage.com/delete-account.
- A player can be removed on its own by holding its tile for 2 seconds.
